When they throw the first punch- God is saying to you today:
“Whatever they plot against the LORD, He will bring to an end. Trouble will not come a second time. I will take revenge, I will pay them back. In due time their feet will slip. Their day of disaster will arrive, and their destiny will overtake them. Don’t be afraid, just stand still and watch the Lord rescue you today. The Egyptians you see today will never be seen again. The Lord Himself will fight for you. Just stay calm. But if you are careful to obey Me, follow all My instructions, then I will be an enemy to your enemies, and I will oppose those who oppose you. I will bless those who bless you, and curse those who treat you with contempt. All the families on earth will be blessed through you. And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who Love God and are called according to His purpose for them. Pride goes before destruction, and hautiness before a fall. Better to live humbly with the poor than to share plunder with the proud. Dear friends, never take revenge. Leave that to the righteous anger of God. For the scriptures say, “I will take revenge, I will pay them back.” Says the Lord. They were always greedy and never satisfied. Nothing remains of all the things they dreamed about. Nothing is left after they finish gorging themselves. Therefore, their prosperity will not endure. Lord, don’t hold back your tender mercies from me. Let your unfailing love and faithfulness always protect me. For we know the One who said, “I will take revenge. I will pay them back.” He also said, “The Lord will judge His own people.” But the Lord is faithful; He will strengthen you and guard you from the evil one. For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in the dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places. Don’t be mislead – you cannot mock the justice of God. You will always harvest what you plant. Repay them for their deeds and for their evil work; repay them for what their hands have done and bring back on them what they deserve. Since it is a righteous thing with God to repay with tribulation those who trouble you. He did me much harm. May the Lord repay him according to his works. What do you conspire against the Lord? He will make an utter end of it. Affliction will not rise up a second time.”
