Thanks to Steven Furtick today, this illuminated to me.
Many of you have been seeing me talk about my position on masks, social distancing, and isolating people.
But what if I can now PROVE to you that the Bible has given us a way to properly handle not only COVID but all infectious diseases.
And we did it completely wrong.
Many of you have heard me state, “find in the Bible where Jesus wore a mask. Because he wore shoes and shirts. So that excuse is not acceptable”. Really! It’s not. Stop saying that.
Ok onto my point. Those who are not for masks will love this.
Those who are hardcore for masks may get offended. So if that is you, you may want to stop reading now. Unless you want to walk in the truth.
But first:
Did you know “masks” are in the Bible?
Did you know social distancing is in the Bible?
How about quarantine?
I found all 3 in one chapter today.
And that chapter relates to one of the most infectious diseases of that time, and if we follow the same regulations, we would all have a thriving economy, healthy people, and no corruption.
So what was it?
– Leprosy –
Leprosy was a massively scary, infectious/contagious and painful disease in the days when the Bible was being written.
How did God tell Moses to protect the healthy, while keeping the sick away so the healthy didn’t get infected?
Let’s stroll down Leviticus 13: 45-52.
When someone suspected they may have leprosy, they had to go to the priest at the time (parallel this to doctors for our time) and be evaluated.
The priest would put people in a 7 day quarantine to make sure it didn’t spread. If it did, and the person was found to have leprosy, they were then taken to the next step to protect the healthy individuals in town from catching it.
Leviticus 13:45 shows us that the man had to cover his mustache (a.k.a. his mouth and nose) and remain outside the city gates and yell “unclean” if people got too close.
They had to live alone in isolation outside the camp. (Vrs 46)
That wasn’t the only thing.
Their contaminated clothing (let’s parallel this with face masks) had to be burned in fire (vrs 52)
This gave confidence that the infectious disease was eradicated and would no longer spread.
So let’s parallel this info with 2020 and the Corona issues.
God did not mask a healthy individual.
God did not isolate or quarantine a health individual.
God did not require something/someone clean to be treated as unclean.
Only satan would convince a healthy individual that they are unclean or not safe and need to live in an “infectious way” to protect themselves.
ONLY SATAN WOULD DO THIS YOU GUYS!!!! GOD DID NOT TREAT THE HEALTHY PEOPLE LIKE THEY WERE SICK OR GOING TO CATCH IT OR SPREAD IT.
God did not shut down an entire town or economy to prevent everyone from catching leprosy.
God did however teach people how to stay away from infected individuals. And how infected individuals could prevent the spread of their disease.
This is biblical principles on how to handle infectious diseases, not mine. I challenge you to continue to study infectious diseases in the Bible on your own.
I feel we should remove masks from healthy individuals, stop requiring healthy individuals to be 6 feet apart and I believe that those who are infected need to stay home and go through the proper quarantine steps to prevent it from spreading.
But we as healthy individuals are walking outside of Biblical principles when we act like we are already sick. Or afraid of getting sick. That is Fear. Not Faith! And it is not helping the fellow neighbor. It is furthing the spread of Satan’s fear and lies.
I forever rest my opinion of this whole mater in God’s hands, God’s ways, and I confidently stand firm on believing the world handled Covid all wrong.
This should be eye opening to how far we have fallen from God as a country, as people, and as a world.

“Those who suffer from a serious skin disease must tear their clothing and leave their hair uncombed. They must cover their mouth and call out, ‘Unclean! Unclean!’ As long as the serious disease lasts, they will be ceremonially unclean. They must live in isolation in their place outside the camp.
