They’re here!!!
I am so excited about this. Have you seen these yet?
If not, here is what their website says…
“What is the Big Life Journal?
As a parent, you want your kids to be confident and resilient with high self-esteem and ambition to achieve great things in life. You want them to have a positive outlook on life and try new things. And at the same time, you don’t want them to be afraid of making a mistake or think they “can’t do” before they even try.
We get it. We are parents too. And we created the Big Life Journal for our son so that he can grow up to be a positive, resilient, confident human being who strives to achieve great things in life. We’re sharing this journal with you with the great hope that it will positively impact your kids’ lives too. “
– Alexandra & Scott, creators of the Big Life Journal
How amazing is that!!! I had to get some right away for my kiddos.
These journals are designed to work on one topic every 2 weeks and it is broken down into 26 weeks.
One of the reasons I am excited about these journals is because I am always working towards helping my children keep a growth mindset.
Going alone is not an option. This is a huge task. So these journals are a great add on to work with all of us.
Another thing I do with my children is I teach them how to be strong, respectable leaders. Leaders add value to people because leaders value people. So I am going to let you in on a little coaching secret here. One of the tools I use with clients as well as my family is what I call the “Add Value” board. It has weekly action items for us to complete and then we report how we added value to others that week. Once a week we go over everything on the board and then discuss what we have done.
For me, adding these journals was a swift purchase idea. I knew they were something I needed to get my kids started on right away.
Secretly I was thinking to myself, “Why in the world didn’t I think of this?”
As a Speaker, Coach and Leader with the John Maxwell Team, I have my hands on the top leadership, growth and development materials in the world so I can help my family grow and prosper. I am also certified as a Youth Max Plus facilitator with Nick Vugicic and John Maxwell.
So I feel the creators of the Big Life Journal are brilliant.
If you have not seen these journals or gotten one yet, they are very much so worth it.
