Chatbooks

Chatbooks is so amazing I am writing a blog post on it. – they are that amazing – And yes, I just announced that I am writing about it, as I am typing this up. And no, I am not being paid to write this blog post. Chatbooks has no clue I am doing this shoutout.

I have received several Chatbooks over the last few months because I may or may not take 120+ photos every month. I had no clue I took so many photos prior to this.

What happens to those photos?

Do they just get lost? Maybe they get posted to social media sites. Then they receive a bunch of likes, some comments and then if you are like me – forget about until TimeHop comes around and reminds me of those moments.

A stack of our ChatbooksSound familiar?

Last night I was able to create a separate book for Baby Peanut’s toddler graduation as she is now entering preschool, and the book has 51 photos.
I edited the captions, included all the info, teachers names, names of friends – etc..
I even included photos of the program the facilitators handed out.

This took me maybe 30 minutes. And these 30 minutes were scattered between laying in bed before going to sleep, down time after kids went to bed, during my 7-year-old’s hair cut today. Total flexibility.

So what Now?

I sit back and forget about it until a beautiful book shows up in my mailbox. I can delete the photos off of my phone. Chatbooks will be doing all the hard work for me. All I have to do is wait for it to show up. Just like that, a scrapbook was done. ✔️

As a foster mom, this has an extra added bonus. Chatbooks is a lifesaver when making the kiddo’s lifebooks, scrapbooks and everything picture related to their lives. Chatbooks for the kids. Chatbooks for the biological families. Chatbooks for my family to hold onto and always remember those special kiddos and the moments we shared. We can not post their photos to social media, and sometimes foster kids can feel left out when they can’t share those moments on social media. Kids now days have to worry about that. Chatbooks takes the edge off of that potential issue. As they see their photos in the books, it helps build their confidence and gives them a sense of belonging. They feel included and a part of the family. It gives them a sense of identity again. Reflecting on those good memories can also bring healing.

How about adoption? Parties, photos, cake, family, more photos. Who has time to sit down and work on scrapbooks?

School projects, A+ papers, Reports? Take a photo, add it to a Chatbooks. You can make a custom book just for that child’s projects. 60 photos, 60 projects, 1 book, less storage space. Less mess, more organization.

And how much is this luxury?

$8. Yes that is correct. $8, free shipping, 60 photos. Yes please!

I pay for faster shipping so it cost me $2 more which is fine by me because I like things quickly, so I pay $10/book.

On Baby’s Peanut’s graduation book I splurged because of the special occasion and did a special print book with a fancy cover for $14.

I load the photos, I fill a Chatbooks (60 photos), and they ship it to me for $10.

That simple.

I have the freedom to:
Edit and add captions
-Upload and remove photos
-Link to my social media accounts and camera roll
-Change the covers
-Order specialty books
-Customize for special occasion
-and so much more.

Best benefit; I do all of this straight from my phone.

I do not like logging into my computer to do projects. In fact, I will let you in on a little

secret.  As I am typing this, I am on my phone, in my notepad app, and I am completely ignoring my laundry pile that I need to wash.I have NO IDEA how I have not had Chatbooks in my life since forever and a Sunday ago. I seriously say this every time the mailman delivers my Chatbooks.

One last added bonus I want to share with you out before I leave you to sign up (because if you are still unsure after reading this, you are really missing out).
My kids love looking at the Chatbooks we have received in the past. I have gone looking for my kiddos on a few occasion to find them tucked away hanging out in a pillow fort, looking at our Chatbooks. It’s a total heart melter moment to see them flipping through the pages and reminiscing about all those memories.
