Hey there Christian Singles… this ones for you! Advice for my teens (and myself 🤫. Because let’s face it with honesty & vulnerability, I need this reminder too!!)

Keep Standing!

You’re the fruit at the tallest part of the healthiest tree.

But the weights & storms of life have tried to get you to lower your branches.

The wind and hail have come through, tearing leaves, causing scars, breaking branches, & leaving bruises.

You watch as others get picked over and over again. Your 3rd crush chose someone else and now you wonder if this wait is worth it!

You could see it with the first two. “God what was I thinking?!? Thank you for protecting me! But this time, #3 has you saying, “God is there something wrong with me!”

There is nothing wrong with you, this is a shield of protection over you! What looks like rejection is actually His DIVINE PROTECTION!!

You’re high up there where it’s not as easy for you to be reached.

The safest fruit is usually up in the tree where the bugs and worms don’t go. Bugs are opportunists and will always go for the closest and easiest to reach!

God placed you there, oh so high, so not just anybody or anything can reach you.

Don’t let the storms of life cause you to lower your branches. Stay high up on that tree!

Feel like it’s too late? You already have a slight sag in your branch?
Repent! And ta-da’ made new again! Right back high in that tree where you are meant to be.

Keep your focus on God, there is someone out there for you!

And one day, “SUDDENLY” you will meet. So don’t settle, and don’t lower your standards.
You’re incredible.
YOU’RE WORTH IT!

Keep standing!

“You will recognize them by their fruits. Are grapes gathered from thornbushes, or figs from thistles?” So, every healthy tree bears good fruit, but the diseased tree bears bad fruit. A healthy tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a diseased tree bear good fruit.
~ Matthew 7:16-18 ESV ~

“Either make the tree good and its fruit good, or make the tree bad and its fruit bad, for the tree is known by its fruit.
~ Matthew 12:33 ESV ~

“He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers.”
~ Psalm 1:3 ESV ~

“I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.”
~ John 15:5 ESV ~
