People rioted right before Jesus was crucified. (Matthew 27)
They chose to free a criminal and hang an innocent man.
God chose to use that chaos and riot and turn the tables to complete earth shaking victory the exact moment when Jesus died and then again when Jesus rose from the dead.
God is going to use today’s chaos and riots to bring in earth shaking victory AGAIN!
Are we turning to God or away from Him?
Are we staying prepped and ready to see God do some incredible works, or will we miss it because we are focusing on the wrong things?
The riot was destructive in Jesus’ day. Almost everyone at the riot missed Jesus’ resurrection. Some even walked by His cross and mocked Him as He hung there.
Where will you be when God brings this next wave of victory?
The signs, miracles and works will happen. Some people will be watching and therefore they will believe, and some people will disbelieve and point to the world as ways to credit their disbelief. They did this when Jesus resurrected as well. The religious leaders bribed others and said that they were to state that his disciples “stole Jesus’ body” (Matthew 28)
I highly encourage you to go read those two chapters.
If Jesus is not your Lord and savior, pray and invite Him into your heart and ask for forgiveness of your sins.
2020 Jumanji memes are hilarious, except the riots will not be the last thing we see. This is not over and we will see more. These events are here to wake us up, get us to repent and turn back to God. We are living smack dab in the middle of an actual “Bible Story” that is being written as we live it, if the Bible was still being written. And we were told these things would happen. The Bible is unfolding before our eyes.
