Yep – Games! = Game School!
Educational games are proven highly effective in educating all learning types and personalities.
In fact, so benefiting that Evy and I did an entire year of Games for curriculum. And it was by far my most favorite school year.
•Need to learn about the anatomy of the body – they have a game for that.
•Algebra – they have a game for that.
•ABC/123 – yup they have a game for it.
•Science/History/Politics/War – Games exist
•Sex Ed – Yuppers! It’s available.
Utilize this time with your kids to play educational games. Google what educational benefits your current board games have. Scrabble, cross words, monopoly, chutes/ladders, Candy Land, Dominoes, Uno, etc all have MULTIPLE educational purposes.
Take the stress out of their education at home.
Dante is watching the two littles while I go to school. He is teaching James and Mia “Telling Time” through a game while I am gone.
Keep homeschool simple and fun guys. The hardest part of homeschool is teaching you, yourself as an adult, how to let go of strict structure and schedules. Public school is NOT homeschool. Unschool your brain and relax and have fun. Despite what society teaches, you have been homeschooling your babies since the day they were born. YOU GOT THIS!
