The power of your words!
I wrote this in the mid-end of 2016 – 3 1/2 years ago!

What are you saying today? That will absolutely be your reality in 5 years. If not sooner.

None of this is to brag, but the inspiration came upon me to share this. And so here it is. Maybe God knew you could relate or see the truth in these entries more than others?!? I don’t know. This is a vulnerable place for me. To let you into one of my journals and read what I was confessing years ago.

I have been journaling for almost 9 years now.

This is a form of gratitude journal I start my clients on when God prompts me to lead them this way. It’s not a gratitude journal for things we are already blessed with, it is a gratitude journal confessing gratitude for what you have not seen yet.

It’s one way I teach people to build their faith. I coach them to then go back sporadically (maybe 1-2x a year) and look over their past entries and highlight what has come to pass.

I still practice this skill. And I still highly recommend others begin doing this type of journaling.

I personally have several notebooks full of highlights. It is impossible to deny God, when we purposely find His greatness highlighted among page after page.

And equally, I am beyond grateful for some of these faithful confessions that have gone unanswered. I have come to learn and I also teach this to show that unanswered prayers are also a magnificent blessing. Reading some of the unanswered confessions have shown me how far I have grown as a Christian and as a person.

And let’s not forget the trusty and faithful not “YET” received confessions I’m still waiting on.
They continue to show that I am still using faith to receive something.

This is by far the greatest tool I received from my coach that I then turned around and have used with my clients.

May you be blessed by this as well.
