Today marks 4 months that I have been working with my natural curls and not against. 4 months ago I was looking for a way to tame my Frizz and embrace the waves I had in my hair. I had no clue it would lead me to this awesome transformation.
I joke and say that God gave me plenty of “Spice” so He “Sweetened” me up with some ringlets.
On my way home from work the song “The Comback” by Danny Gokey came on and it hit me in the heart.

🏼Hallelujah, Glory to God, I am in the middle of my comeback.

I’m done allowing others to hold me back.
I done allowing myself to be controlled by other people’s emotions, decisions and opinions!
I’m done with that past season in my life. I’m done being someone’s plan B, 2nd choice, obligation.
My heart is far too tender for this cruel world sometimes. BUT! God!!
He made me a promise in October and gave me Isaiah 43:18-19 to stand on. And continually brings this scripture back around to me through sermons and teachings.
My hair is just tiny example of the wonderful manifestation of His amazing goodness to that promise!
It PAYS to serve the father.
I’m so ready for this next NEW chapter.
That even includes my hair.
Even my hair is getting a 2nd Chance, a new beginning – A Comeback!
If God will help restore my hair, I can only begin to imagine how much more God has in store for me!!!!
