Who do you want to be 5 years from now? One second can change your entire future. Hear me out ( for just a second x 60 😆)

It’s almost New Years and you are standing at the beginning of something great, or a continuation of who you have always been. Where do you want to be 5 years from now?

A lot has changed in 3 years. Basically everything I knew about my faith, my family, myself, my identity, personality, personal appearance, my relationship with Jesus and others, my dreams, goals, everything!

3 years ago I had an extra 85 lbs of weight, heat straightened, damaged, 1/2 blonde – 1/2 grown out brunette hair, no self confidence, no idea who I was, my marriage ended, a shattered heart and no idea what the future held for my kids and I.

3 years ago I was lost. I was hurt. I was confused. I was angry. I was sad. I was depressed. I was every single emotion all rolled into one big balled up mess. You get the picture! (I think)

BUT!

3 years ago was the most pivotal time in my life.

Through every ounce of those difficult days. The ones where I could barely get out of bed because I was so depressed, to the days where I had way more energy than I knew what to do with, I healed slowly, little by little, and began an amazing adventure into who I was meant to be!

These last three years have helped me get back something so precious – that something is – me!

It only takes me a second to make mistakes and another 1/2 a dozen x10 seconds to decide I will grow from them.

But, It only takes a second!

And 1 second after another compounds.

3 years later I stand here and can confidently tell you, you can also do it. It will only take you a second.

Who do you want to be 5 years from now?
Take your second, and start now!
Turn those seconds into minutes.
Those minutes into hours, days, and weeks!

Will you have set backs – 100% garunteed.
Will you feel like you will never get there – absolutely.
Will it seem like nothing is changing in the daily – Yes!

But one small second compounds into huge results over the course of months & years. Keep building those seconds up!

Who do you want to be 5 years from now? Start right now!! Don’t wait for the New Year!
