Are you taking care of yourself?
There is more to taking care of yourself than fitness, or eating right. How are your thoughts toward yourself? Are you taking care of your mental and spiritual health as well?

I like to be goofy, make people laugh, have a good time, and if I fall quiet or don’t feel like talking, and things don’t seem funny, that’s my first clue that something is bothering me, hurt me, or I need to address something.

What are your cues that something isn’t right?

Sometimes it’s as simple as needing more sleep. Other times it’s someone or something in my life that needs to be changed, removed, or evaluated.

What do you do for yourself to get back to a great mental state?  For me, I find things that remind me of my worth, I take time to reflect, I speak positive back into myself, I dress cute and remind myself I’m a queen. I journal, read my Bible and listen to music. – SO MUCH MUSIC! I put a good book on audible or listen to a podcast that reminds me to straighten my crown.

Just like showering should be daily, we need to be motivating ourselves daily. We are responsible for picking ourselves up and finding the things that make us happy. It’s no one else’s job to make us happy.

Challenge yourself today to find 3 things that make you happy, and go do those things! If your already happy, you’ll be even happier. If your struggling today, it will lift your mood to a better place.

Life will always throw us waves, but it’s what you do with the wave!
You can either grab a surf board and ride above it, or, you can let it drown you. It’s up to you!
